2018 - 2019 Blues (Hockey) Season

[JCShutout]

All the comments in the media about Binny winning the most single-season postseason games in Blues history got me thinking, and the Blues have NEVER won a 3rd round series. (The 3 years they went to the finals, the SCF was the 3rd round iirc) The MNM is still the most single-season team victories in the playoffs at 11. This year and 2016 are second most at 10. 01 or 02 (the Turek years) next with 9.

I probably could google around and confirm this, but I'm lazy and pretty sure this is accurate.

Blues won 10 postseason games in 86, losing the conference final in 7 games. But the first round was only best of 5 then.

That's right. Thanks Popeye. So the Blues, with a win, would be in uncharted waters.

Looks like Karlsson is in the lineup today. Don’t wish injury on anyone, but I hope that he isn’t 100% and the Blues can take advantage.

Not a good time for the PP to revert to a disadvantage

What a team! The way they've kept responding to adversity, all season & through these playoffs, has been amazing.
