Love the discussion about the PP. I can't really add much. I was a goalie and only focused on goaltending, so the details of offensive schemes are beyond me.

Looks like they’re switching up the PP units...
1st Unit: The Blues went with Vladimir Tarasenko, Ryan O'Reilly, Pat Maroon, Colton Parayko and Tyler Bozak.

(The Blues had been going recently with Tarasenko, O'Reilly, Alex Pietrangelo, Brayden Schenn and David Perron on the first unit.)

2nd Unit: Pietrangelo, Schenn, Perron, Vince Dunn and Jaden Schwartz.

(The Blues had been going recently with Maroon, Bozak, Dunn, Thomas and Schwartz on the second unit.)

Interesting. Parayko has struggled to QB the PP, so it is a bit risky to place him in a 4-1 line. I do like that they are going with one 4-1 unit and one 3-2 unit to make the Sharks have to adjust.

Also I would keep Thomas instead of Perron. He’s been better.

They said Thomas didn’t skate today (said it was just maintenance), so maybe that’s why he wasn’t out there?

Or maybe he’s banged up so they’re limiting his minutes?

That Tarasenko goal was a beaut.

Glad it is only 3-2. Damn the Sharks were hammering away
