The sharks knights game is going into overtime. Sharks down 3-0 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd when the Knights knocked out Pavelski cold on the ice and took a 5 minute major in the process. During which the Sharks scored 4 times. Then the Knights tied it up with 40 seconds left.

That was the worst major penalty I can remember seeing. I'm still not sure Eakin even deserved a minor on that play. I hope Pavelski's okay, but there was no intent to injure there and it was a cross check after a face off that happens dozens of times a game.

Crazy game. I fell asleep with about 15 minutes left to play and Vegas up 3-0. Checked the score this morning, and WTF?

Agreed that was a bad call as a major penalty. At most it should have been a minor for cross-checking. That said, kudos to the Sharks for taking advantage--when is the last time you've seen a team score 4 goals in a 5 minute PP?

Just watched the highlights. If I were a Vegas fan, I would be sooooooo pissed. That was TERRIBLE! Shame on the ref who made that a major. SHAME.

It was definitely a terrible call and I'd be mad about it too but still. You can't give up four goals in those five minutes. That's just a complete collapse. You have to be able to get past the call in the moment and focus on getting the job done.
