Helluva lot of respect for the Chiefs for doing that. I hope they kick ass without him now.

It's our best chance at a Superbowl in literally forever, and I couldn't be happier.

Mad respect for Chiefs fans to adopt this attitude. I wasn't rooting for them to win it before (only because I'm a Broncos fan, and I'm obligated to hate them), but I am now.

Just [expletive] quit with this dumbass take.Socnorb11 wrote:Regardless, if Kaepernick was a really good player like Hunt, he'd have a job. That's kinda what it boils down to, really. Other players have done what Kaepernick did, and they're all still employed.
Chase McDaniel had started 2 games in his 9 year career, had 78 career pass attempts, and signed a 2 year 10 mil deal.
Seriously, give it the [expletive] up.

I'm still leery about why TMZ seems to get these scoops before the NFL, so I'm not giving the Chiefs too much credit. But I'm damn proud that rather than saying "until all the details come to light blah blah blah" they just cut him. They took his word, found out he lied, and axed him.Socnorb11 wrote:InvincibleCakeEater wrote:It's our best chance at a Superbowl in literally forever, and I couldn't be happier.

Take the over this week. Chiefs are gonna score a [expletive] ton to prove that Hunt "doesn't matter."

Le'Veon Bell would look pretty good in a Chiefs uni next year.

You seriously think that if Zeke or Julio Jones were taking a knee, they'd be unemployed?
Of course what Kaep did is a factor. Nobody is denying that. If you're going to choose to be a lightning rod though, you'd better be a really valuable football player. You can be a so-so football player like Chase McDaniel, and still find a job if you don't have any baggage. You can also be a really good football player with baggage like Adrian Peterson, and find a job. You can't be a mediocre football player with baggage and find a job, though. That's where Kaep is. That's where Ray Rice was too, for that matter.
