Q can sit out the whole season and be paid handsomely by the Blackhawks. I wouldn't be surprised if he did just that.

I think the Blues did Yeo a disservice with bringing in players that just don't fit in his system. The team got better talent wise but if they players don't fit in the system it isn't going to work and the obvious change is bringing in a new coach with a system that will fit the players. I don't take the start to this season as meaning Yeo was a bad coach this season, just that he was given guys that don't worth with the style of play he knows best and it didn't work.

No, you are not misinformed. He had pretty good results up in Minnesota for several years before his message started getting lost. The Blues F.O. was enamored with him when a less talented MN team basically suffocated us to death in the playoffs one year (3 or 4 years ago I think).

General manager Doug Armstrong said a wide net would be cast for a new coach, and that coaches in all parts of the game — AHL, Europe, college, juniors and those currently out of work — would be looked at. "It's not something that's going to be done over the next day or two," Armstrong said. He said it was possible, but not probable, that a coach would be hired in season. Berube will receive consideration.

Yuck; Berube sucks balls...guess it's a season of not making the playoffs
