I do have to say I am a fan of the New Higgins in the Magnum re-boot...

Started watching Gotham. It's pretty fun.

Very excited to see what way they're going to go.

SNL was in the lean side of so-so. I am tired of the 'snl is toothless' hot take. Matt Damon's Kavanaugh said 'I don't know the meaning of the word stop!' I don't want the hamfist all these hottakers seem to want.

Pete Davidson... I don't get it. His WU bit was as funny as I've ever found him, but I just don't find him very amusing. Makes me feel old. Mooney made the idea of Pete Davidson very funny. Far funnier than the guy himself. I never totally got into Jimmy Fallon, but at least he had some ideas and charisma.

Kanye... I don't even know. I like the Kid Cudi album. But man, he sucks on two levels now.

thought it was an ok episode and fine with intro. i definitely agree with the davidson comment. i don't get it, never have. fallon was/is annoying but way out talents pete (snl careers...and heck outside snl). what does he even do during week? i'm also not impressed with jost and che on weekend update. not that they're bad per se but they think they're real hot [expletive] and nah, they're not. speaking of weekend update, mckinnon was great per usual as RBG. kate is a comedic freak. leslie jones is meh to me but i liked her serena bit

I made the mistake of watching Last Man Standing over the weekend and wow. Their first episode back was terrible. They just kept forcing jokes about the show being cancelled despite being so popular and they were painful. Of course when they weren't' making those jokes, it was the same easy political jokes based on the same old generalizations as the first time the show was on.

I had never actually watched the show until they were cancelled and then I watched a chunk of re-runs to see what it was all about and it got stale really fast. Nothing has changed with the reincarnated version. Except there was a cast change with the middle daughter. She was pretty dumb the first time around but in the first episode back they seem to have made her even dumber. And of course her boyfriend is even dumber too. They stretched out a joke about something being different with Mandy the entire episode and it was painful. The men literally didn't figure out that she was taller and blonde until the very end even though they knew something was different. Really? They tried WAAAY too hard the first episode back. I don't see the show lasting very long this time around.

Full disclosure, Molly Ephraim was the main reason that I even watched as much of the original as I did but now she's gone.

I mostly know Kid Cudi from the forth season of Comedy Bang Bang, which is one of the greatest stoner shows of all time.

pursuit of happiness is a great track.
