Don't discount that Pham is playing in a new league. It may take some time for the opposition to adjust to him. This is a trade that should be judged a few years after the fact.

His BABIP is over .400 since being traded.
So?

It's .346 for his career. And .323 this year. He's just going back to his mean.

My guess is he is saying that Tommy's .431 BAbip is more than 100 points above the score for the year and 128 points higher than his 2018 St. Louis number. Going back to the mean, as you pointed out, would mean coming down from the level he is playing at right now.

Didn't you just try to argue Munoz and O'Neill's stats since the ASB?

You move goal posts when you want to.

He's a career 117 wRC+ in 1300 PAs. All while Matheny/Mo bounced him around the lineup and the minors for no reason. He's good. And better than a lot of Cardinals.

Nope, I did not. I presented their stats from five different splits: 2018, 2018 with men on base, 2018 since ASB, 2018 Last 30 PA's, and 2018 Last 10 PA's. And I was not arguing them. I was pointing out that it might not be so insane to play Munoz considering his performance to date at the dish beats O'Neill over however many PA's you want to cut it.

This is also not true. That's just your comeback whenever you don't know what else to say. But I definitely enjoy trolling you, and that's certainly what I'm doing, because it's easy, and I like the taste.

No one ever said he wasn't. The trade worked out well for the Cardinals, the Rays, and Pham.

It's cute you think you're the one trolling.

Glad you admitted that you cherry picked splits.

If that's how you want to see it, more power to you.
