If he can hit the glove, he couldn't possibly be much worse than Cecil or Lyons.

Would certainly be another interesting chapter in one of the most fascinating careers.

As long as if the worst case scenario happening doesn’t screw with him emotionally, then fantastic. If there’s even a shred of possibility that it would [expletive] him up, no way.

And, his 'yips' problem was mostly with his fastball. His curve didn't seem to be a problem for him to throw.

Tommy Pham was removed from Thursday's game against the Angels due to an apparent foot injury.
Pham got plunked on his right foot by a pitch in the bottom of the fourth inning and was tended to by trainers for a couple minutes before running for himself. He eventually departed prior to the top of the seventh, with Mallex Smith taking over in left field.

Rick Ankiel told Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports on Thursday morning that he is "toying with" the idea of pitching professionally again.
"I have nothing to lose," he said. "I’m not afraid. I might as well try." Ankiel gave up pitching in 2005 after a very public battle with the yips before eventually returning to the majors as a power-hitting outfielder. He's only 39 years old and he struck out the only batter he faced Wednesday in the Bluegrass World Series, a tournament that pits former big-leaguers against college players. "My kids have never seen me play, never seen me pitch," Ankiel told Brown. "And I feel like I’m in a better place."

This could go wrong so quickly. Not sure I want to take the risk.

Yankees recalled 1B Luke Voit from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Voit will start at DH and bat seventh in his Yankees debut Thursday night against the Red Sox. He was acquired from the Cardinals last week in exchange for relievers Chasen Shreve and Giovanny Gallegos.

And I could go by the bullpen and get him to autograph my copy of The Phenomenon
