Matt Adams with 29 bombs since being traded a year ago. In only 367 ABs. Walk rate up to 14%. Better option than Jose most likely...

Time will tell.

His first base defense has been stellar too. 20.9 UZR/150.

Royals released RHP Seth Maness.
Maness had registered a 4.63 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and 8/1 K/BB ratio over 11 2/3 innings this season for the Royals' Triple-A affiliate in Omaha. According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the 29-year-old right-hander is going to try to find an organization that is willing to use him as a starter.

I would be all for the Reds picking him up if it wasn't for the other teams in the division. It would just be giving too many wins (that will probably happen anyway) to the other teams in the division on the days they faced the Reds/Maness.

What day was Maness released? I was wondering if it was just another Maness Monday.
