This timeline is helpful if you're confused about Westworld, or like me you've forgotten stuff from Season 1

That timeline is absurd. I'm completely tired of the different timelines.
I like aspects to WW, but the writing is starting to really annoy me. It's become one symbolic conversation after another to underscore the themes of the show. It's never as interesting or smart as it wants to be. WW needs more crowd pleasing punch to underscore the themes of the show as opposed to pretentious dialog. It makes it really hard to care about any of the characters.

I'd prefer they just drop the past as a running story. I'm not sure it's been very relevant yet except as a surprise generator.Michael wrote:That timeline is absurd. I'm completely tired of the different timelines.

1. IDGAF about any of the content
2. I'm sure there are blogs about how cowardly it is they don't talk about Trump
3. Sometimes it's just barely funny
For these reasons, I find the Joel McHale Show perfect and easy and amusing enough when I don't have the spirit to even browse Netflix.

Same. William has a daughter named Emily? William's wife committed suicide and the daughter blamed William?33anda3rd wrote:Good lord I've forgotten more than I remember about Westworld based on that timeline.
Also, I just call William "McPoyle" so this is all even more confusing.

Re: TV Thread - beware, [expletive] can get spoilery
The structure of Silicon Valley is on repeat.
Ep A ends: OMG gang is in trouble
Ep B ends: Phew! Gang averts crisis.
Ep C ends: OMG gang is in trouble.
Ep D ends: Phew! Gang averts crisis.
and so on.
Luckily, it's absolutely hilarious and the secondary characters (Jian Yang, Jared, the Tres Commas guy, Gavin Belson, Laurie Breem) are so good the repetitive predictable structure doesn't really matter. Dinesh's need to be The Tesla Guy in the office was a very fun little arc, Jared's mission to destroy the assistant he hired for Richard because he's less needed is funny and right on character for Jared. The whole show is just so much fun.
