Looks awful in the field and plate for A’s
This makes me sad. I really like Piscotty.

he's had a few good days lately though according to bref his defense is hurting him more now

Stephen Piscotty ended up 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-2 win against the White Sox.
Piscotty started off a little slow in his new surroundings, sitting at just .194 (7-for-36) with one extra-base hit and five RBI on April 8. He has hit safely in seven straight since then, including four multi-hit games, going 11-for-25 (.440) with three doubles, a homer and six RBI. The buy-low window has slammed shut in a hurry.

Braves designated OF Peter Bourjos for assignment.
The move clears a 40-man (and 25-man) roster spot for top outfield prospect Ronald Acuna, who will join the Braves ahead of Wednesday night's game against the Reds. Bourjos was 3-for-25 (.120) in his time with Atlanta.

Former Cardinals pitcher Bob Tewksbury may have St. Louis’ own Yogi Berra to thank for the title of “Ninety Percent Mental.” Tewksbury quotes Berra as once observing in his unique way: “Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical.”

The mental part forms the theme of this book, and Tewksbury has the credentials to write about it (with help from Scott Miller, a sportswriter). After all, Tewksbury serves as the mental skills coach for the San Francisco Giants and once held the same post with the Boston Red Sox.

Cardinals fans will enjoy some of Tewksbury’s memories from his years here. He heaps praise upon manager Joe Torre and tells an amusing tale of the night Blues hockey star Brett Hull visited the Busch Stadium clubhouse after a game.

ERA is high but I didn't realize how good Marco Gonzales underlining stats are

5.02 ERA but 3.01 FIP, 2.73 xFIP, 25% K rate, 4.1% walk rate. 0.8 WAR.

Why?

Gyorko is better. Freese had 500 ABs last year and couldn't top 2 fWAR.

Even with this unique catch, Grichuk is -0.6 fWAR and batting .106
