It's nearly impossible to catch up on the season because google fiber nor netflix has them on demand.
If you have Amazon Prime you can stream all 5 past seasons there.

Frankly, there's no real excuse for anyone under 50 to not have Amazon Prime (or access to it in the household)...

There are ethical reasons. But i have it.

https://newrepublic.com/article/147249/amazon-big-tax

This year, like every other year, is shaping up to be a triumphant one for Amazon. It is on the cusp of becoming the first trillion dollar company ever. In the coming months it will announce the opening of a second headquarters—and likely bank billions in tax breaks and other incentives from the lucky city it chooses to grace with its presence. The company’s founder and CEO Jeff Bezos will continue to be the richest person in the history of the world. Amazon will continue to grow at a rapid clip, gobbling up e-commerce market share and posting staggering revenues. It will even post profits. And it will pay next to nothing, and possibly nothing at all, in federal taxes.

i definitely don't want prime because of amazon. i use amazon a lot and don't like that i do but i can't deny the convenience/price. they're shady as F. i remember growing up in the 90s and just loving the internet and everything out there but as i get older i find it a burden. still use it all the time, etc but i wish i didn't. off topic obviously

I'm excited. There are so many different ways the end of this show could go down.

And yes, I hope they reboot it in 20 years, and it's 2016 and the plot is that Philip and Elizabeth are brought out of retirement to recruit Trump as a Putin asset.
Lol, the unintended parallels between that show and what’s been happening lately are more than a little frightening.

I could drink beer with someone and talk about Wild Wild Country all day, but would be hard to put thoughts down here. Lots of conflicting thoughts besides the crazy story on it's own. Everything is upside down -considering the Bundy group. The scope of the Sannyisan group is surprising. I have little recollection of it.

It is like sci fi movie/ episode that happened

For any fans of Garry Shandling, the documentary on HBO is really great.

I'll spoil this because I don't want to poison (word choice) anyone's experience here wrt Wild Wild Country. It's an incredible story, and that film is sharp. Definitely worth a watch.
[SHOW]
But whatever larger points they could have made about 'isn't this just like Mormons' or 'isn't Uncle Sam just like Baghdan' or whatever else is cheated by the too-gentle touch they used on the cult members.

Perhaps the people of Antelope should have just been cooler about the orgasms bouncing off the canyon walls from their new hippie sex cult neighbors. (Though there really were some shenaniganny acts against the Rajneeshis, those notes were hit hard enough.)

But it's good fortune/luck/a miracle? no babies or old people died in The Dalles in this groups act of biological warfare. They were trying to kill each other, Oregonians, and government officials.

They were terrorists.

That doesn't always shine through in that doc that (literally (!!!)) ends just before the filmmakers go off to have a drink with the petulant, unrepentant sociopath responsible for the largest poisoning in U.S. history and (not literally) building dreamcatchers with that unrepentant ahole lawyer in Washington. The 'those were the days' ending was damn near perverse.

The counterbalance of the Australian lady wasn't enough.

Which is to say nothing of the man himself, as the film did.

If you want to go deeper into the wormhole, I recommend the very slightly referenced work of Les Zaitz from the Oregonian. I read it a few years ago (or something like it?). It starts with this:
Ma Anand Puja stepped into St. Vincent Hospital on a summer night in 1985, hunting for James Comini.

The Filipino nurse was there to kill the rural Oregon politician, who was recuperating from ear surgery at the Portland hospital. She carried a syringe to inject a mixture into Comini's intravenous tube that would stop his heart.
http://www.oregonlive.com/rajneesh/inde ... an_we.html

Anyway, my feelings about the film, or at least the players/story, haven't aged well since that first weekend when I inhaled it.
Again, I came into the doc with some formed notions, and though I'd like to think I'm more objective than that ahole lawyer in Washington, there was some poison (like a salad bar in The Dalles) on it already for me.

I really do think they did a good job. I just disagree with some of their choices, and in a stronger sense than a 'well you're supposed to!' kind of way.
