I used to watch Tool Time growing up but his schtick has really not aged well. I have no desire to watch re-runs of the show or a reboot. Heck, as far as I'm concerned, Last Man Standing might as well have been a reboot of Tool Time. He basically plays the same character that I remember but has three daughters instead of sons and runs an outdoor store instead of a TV show... but he still does a video blog for the store so how much different really is it? The biggest difference is that he threw out constant Obama, Obamacare and Liberal jabs every ten seconds whereas I don't remember him being that direct with the political jabs on Tool Time. Then again, I was a kid so I probably just didn't pick up on it.
I never watched Last Man Standing when it was still in production but I have recently seen it in syndication and as terrible as this is going to sound... I actually watch it at 6am on Channel 11 most mornings before getting out of bed for work. I can't stand his humor or him but I do like the women on the show. Everybody is such a stereotype on that show I should hate it. But I still watch it because I like the actresses. And there is nothing else on from 6-6:30am when you don't have cable and don't feel like grabbing the phone from the charger across the room to control YouTubeTV.
There was no political bent on Home Improvement that I can remember other than a few Randy episodes, but if I had to guess how the characters would vote....

Saved By The Bell could maybe be on that list to? I forget what time frame that show was compared to Home Improvement. That's another one that hasn't aged well. Zach Morris was a selfish POS.
I don't know if it is still on for hours every Sunday morning but it was as of a few months ago before I got YouTube TV so I'd watch it since nothing else was on. I can't believe I used to like that show. Zach should have been on the sex offenders list. Well, maybe Screech since he was the one dressing up to spy on the women's restroom/locker room every week but Zach made him do it when he wasn't just flat out bugging Jessie's bedroom.
