I was under the impression the Kyrie trade was about clearing the table for the new owner and the post LeBron Cavs. But trading an expiring contract and a first?
Maybe the new owner is in place and delusional wrt keeping LeBron. Or maybe the new owner is in place and it's Jeter: sell, sell, sell!

CATCH : NFL : : MOVING SCREEN : NBA
It's a been a mess this year.
I like the progress that's been made in speeding up the game. Another rule to help this league: allow only captains to talk to the referees, and only between quarters. Move that [expletive] off the stage, and reduce make up calls which have always been a part of the game but shouldn't be. Obviously Chris Paul would have an aneurysm and die just as soon as he heard of this rule, but I never said there would be no casualties.

Nikola Jokic just put up a triple-double............... and it's only halftime.
Apparently the fastest TD in history.
16 pts., 12 assists, 10 rebounds.
He's 22......... and wasn't invited to the all-star game.

He didn't come into the league with an explosive element to his game. I don't know if he'll ever peak.

Anthony Davis has done everything he's needed to do since the Boogie injury and then some. I grant you it was against the Suns, but it was a SEGABABA and he still put up 53 & 17.
