Finally got around to seeing Hail Caesar and Alden Ehrenreich was really good in his role which was a bigger role then I expected him to have in it. Not sure why so many people are so negative about the posibility of a young Han Solo movie just because the fans didn't get the guy who does the Han Solo impersonations to get the role. Most people online wouldn't have a clue on how you cast a movie role but hey as long as a guy has the same general look they think they can cast movie roles.

They just fired Phil Lord and Christopher Miller as the directors, I wonder if his bad performance was mostly their fault with trying to make the movie too much of a comedy.

The grumpiest critics I follow are saying good things about The Last Jedi. It's hard not to be hyped.

Going Saturday morning and I'm super-hyped.

I want to go this weekend, don't know if I can get the Wife to go, she hates seeing a movie in a crowded theater.
May go next weekend and hope to catch a less full theater.

If you can go in the morning they're mostly empty, and they're like $5. I saw TFA at 11am the morning after the premiere with about 8 or so other people in the theater. I did have to rush across town from the major theater to one of the smaller screens because there were lots of school buses outside and I was like ohhhhh geez.

I won a set of tickets from the local radio station (was hoping for tickets to Northern Invasion in May (Tool, APC, A7X, Alice in Chains, Breaking Benjamin, etc), but I will settle for seeing Episode VIII. They're just Fandango gift certificates, so they can be used pretty much anywhere - at least at all of the major chain cinemas like AMC, Carmike, Wehrenberg, etc.
