Spoilering to be safe, but really this won't impact your enjoyment of the show if you read it.
[SHOW]
At the beginning of most of the episodes they show a scene that involves the BTK killer, I don't recall if there are ever any words but most of the scenes are basically silent. It's like they were telling a separate origin story, because while you can relate the stuff from the FBI guys to these scenes, they don't really intersect.

Just a general question--does it pick up after two episodes? It seems to move kinda slow.

A little bit, but it's definitely a slow burn. The first few episodes lay a lot of ground work, so even though it doesn't reach a breakneck pace, it does feel like things are picking up after.

My Chromecast (courtesy of YouTube TV) arrived yesterday and now I like YouTube TV a lot more. I have my Roku in my bedroom because that is an old tube TV that I can't even get over the air channels on so I plugged the Chromecast in my nice TV in the living room and maybe five minutes later, I was watching DVR'd stuff on my TV instead of phone or iPad. It all works really well together and I'm a big fan of using my phone/iPad as a complete remote.

It is weird to see a countdown during commercials on stuff you haven't DVR'd telling you how much time is left before the show is back on. Kind of nice though. The DVR will also let you skip through commercials just like any other.

I'm currently watching the first season of Bates Motel on Netflix. The show is trash, but I kind of love it. Every episode contains 2-3 plot points that would be the top of a season story arch for a normal TV show. Hardly anything makes any sense and the tone is all over the place, but that's okay because the pace is so fast you don't really have to dwell on it. You just sit back, turn your brain off, and enjoy the horrible ride. This is the terrible television show I've been waiting for.

Enjoy the ride! Season 5 is probably next on my to-watch list

Has big little lies been discussed on here? I would have never watched it if not for 1. Murder. 2. Reese Witherspoon. 3. Nichole Kidman (sp?). 4. Guy from true blood.

Anyway, there is no murder. And if there was it was the guy from true blood that got killed by a lady that was very sexy and gave “organic bee jays”

There. Saved you 8 hours or whatever.

Finished Longmire

A really enjoyable show. I didn’t like how Henry was used the latter seasons, but satisfying ending
