I think Jeff Fisher sucks as much as the next person, but I keep reading how the Rams are basically the same team as they were last year and it's [expletive]. Andrew Whitworth is not Greg Robinson. John Sullivan is not Tim Barnes. Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins >>> Kenny Britt and Brian Quick. There's some natural improvement with a better coach, but the Rams whiffed time after time on draft picks and free agent signings during the Linehan/Spags/Fisher eras. They've gotten better and signed better players.

Judges finally ruled in favor of the NFL - Zeke's 6 game suspension finally begins this week, meaning he won't be eligible to return until Week 16 against Seattle on 12/24.

So you’re saying Jeff Fisher would turn this into a 7-9 team. Agreed.

Wrong. With this same group of players they would easily go 8-8.

I honestly don't know what was worse: Fisher's stranglehold on personnel decisions or his philosophy about offense. Their neglect in ever finding a lineman better than a washed up Jake Long or an inconsistent receiver like Kenny Britt frustrates me more than putting Rob Boras in charge of calling plays.

It really wouldn’t be hard to argue Jeff Fisher was a well paid patsy who was only there to facilitate the LA move.

I have come to this conclusion. He played his role perfectly too. If StanK wanted to complain about fan support then what better way to do it then start well almost every year and then implode to finish 7-9 consistently to frustrate the fans into not filling the stadium to capacity. If they'd gone 2-14 every season then the lack of fan support is easier to attribute to his horrible team. At 7-9, he was able to spin the stadium having empty seats as not supporting a team that was 'in the hunt for the playoffs until late every season' thanks to the NFC West the past few years.

Not to mention Demoff's "fortunately or not fortunately" comments a while back.

You could’ve given Mexico a better matchup, Goodell.

The only thing left for me in the NFL is rooting against [expletive] Dallas

Shocking that the Rams faced a real team and got punched in the mouth.
