It's a bit of a pipe dream but it would be nice to trade one of our extra defenders and something for a top 6 forward when Bouwmeester comes back. Then you have Berglund coming back in a month and I think we would be in really good shape with 4 strong lines.

We are off to a great start but I think we are just one guy short on the second line, and with anymore injuries could be big trouble.

Maybe you could get a scoring depth winger that could play on the 2nd/3rd line for Gunnarson. It would likely have to be a pretty even cap for cap deal since the Blues are pretty tight up against the cap. I've never been a huge fan of him, but he's been really solid this year. He just doesn't really have a spot this year with how well Dunn has adjusted to the NHL.

Speaking of Dunn, it would be nice to see him on PP1 with Petro. I'm not a huge fan of Steen on the point anymore.

I have only been to one game so far this year but they beat the Kings. I was offered a ticket in 116 row E for Thursdays game but had to miss it due to a work dinner that evening. I dodged a bullet there. I still have a perfect record on the season. Now I get to blame it on the guy who got the ticket after I had to turn it down since it was his first game of the year. It's all his fault that the Blues lost.

It was painful to be at the game and getting Snapchats from friends who were there including one from a guy in different seats three sections over who was able to find our other friends and took a picture of them. Those seats were great. Hopefully she'll get them again soon.

Vladimir Tarasenko is dealing with an upper-body injury, according to coach Mike Yeo.

Tarasenko left Monday's practice early because of the ailment. The Blues visit New Jersey on Tuesday night and the status of the their star player is unclear at this time.

I knew things were going too well... The hockey gods needed to inflict Tarasenko with an injury to rebalance the hockey universe.

Jeebus the Blues look good.

If they keep up this hot streak for a few more games they can play .500 the rest of the season and still make the playoffs. They've been so good that even regression won't stop them.

A buddy of mine is coming in town next week, and wants to take the fam to a Blues game. He was asking me if it was better, generally (if that can even be answered) to sit in the upper or lower bowl for a family with a 3 year old. I don't have a kid and haven't been to a game in a few years, so I lack the perspective. Any thoughts?
