It wasn't until I read this page of the thread that I realized that I haven't been to Friendlies since game 7 of the 2011 WS. I'll have to head down there this year to catch a game since it isn't far. EDIT: Was at tkd, just saw video of the goals. Wow, goal one the Hawks just leave Schwartz alone, who stayed calm. 2nd goal, long change, another Hawk mistake letting the Blues change sneak behind them on a great clear by Allen. Schwartz again stays calm, little deke, makes Crawford commit and just moves it around him. 3rd goal was a beauty by Tank. I can't even describe it. Go to nhl.com and just check out the video. Just ridiculous.

That save by Allen on Kane was ridiculous. Kane didn't play it well, but that is a hell of a save.

Overall the Blues have just dominated outside of the last few minutes in the third. This is easily the best game they've played this year.

EDIT: SO 2 goals can basically be boiled down to the hawks freaking out about Tarasenko leaving someone else open. Oh, and Vladdy still got a goal today. That's elite play.

EDIT2: ANd Schwartz gets the ENG for the hat trick. That should do it.

The second Hawks goal was obviously goaltender interference, but it wasn't called. Good to see the Hawks getting the calls early.

What a hideously officiated game that was. The Blues might have caught a break with the last challenge, but all of the last 3 goals the Avs scored were fluky.

Brayden Schenn has completely exceeded my expectations. He's wearing Upshall's old number and I've repeatedly seen number 10 go up the ice and think 'HOLY CRAP! Wha'ts gotten into Upshall?!' before realizing that it was Schenn.

His backchecking and speed are definitely good enough to be a center. I kept hearing he wasn't good enough down the middle, but in the small sample size so far i'm not seeing that.
