Did the clues lead to a pile of laundry that needed to be done?

Not sure how I should feel after getting a request to create purchase reqs so we can pay invoices to consultants even though that is definitely not my job. However it turns out that somebody in our organization has to physically create the req and I'm literally the only one who has the authorization in our system. I should have lost that authorization in December of 2007 when I left the supply chain group.
Apparently IT doesn't audit the roles and authorizations very carefully.
At the same time, I do have a LOT of access to stuff which is nice because I don't have to waste time going to other people when I can just get the data I need myself even if I technically shouldn't have the access. I've been in Customer Service (twice), Supply Chain and the sales side (twice including my current role). I don't think I've ever lost any of my previous access like everybody else seems to.
I would not mess with anything that involves cash flows no matter how well intentioned. At a minimum I would get sign off from a higher up before you do it.
Oh yes. I love Cracker Barrel. Unless you can find me another place where I can eat a 2,000 calorie meal with 75 other fat humps, I'll continue to go there.

I would suggest The Feedlot™ but you're looking at a minimum of 150 fat humps there. It can get a little rowdy (especially when they bring out a fresh tray of Cheezy Slop), but the double all you can eat buffet is worth it.
