Albert Pujols has a 76 wRC+ this year, and a -1.0 WAR.
Only 4.5 years left on that contract.

Re: Former Cardinals Watch
Yankees have placed Matt Holliday on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to Sunday and sent him to New York with what they believe is a viral infection.
“We haven’t seen much improvement and the fatigue factor and not eating a lot. Even if he did start to feel better, it would take three or four days to start to get his strength back,’’ Girardi said.
“I guess he’s going to have more tests run. He probably has lost a little weight and he looks peaked. His eyes looked like they are sagging back and he doesn’t look like a very energetic person. They have an idea of what it isn’t. They ruled out [mononucleosis], which is good because that was a concern.’’
Hope it's nothing too serious...might have just drank some NYC tap.

Re: Former Cardinals Watch
Just checked out Holliay's stats for maybe first time since the beginning of the season, he has 15 HR and 47 RBI for half a season. With this viral infection I don't suspect him to keep it up quite to the same level for the rest of the year. But I think that he has 1 more season in him after this year.
