Re: Random musings
Since two private messages didn't seem to work, I will tell you a third time: If you attack a poster rather than the substance of their post, which you did, you will be warned and the post will be removed. Nobody cares what your politics are with regard to moderation. In the few months I've been a mod, I have sent warnings and deleted comments from people of any stripe, including people who've been here for 10+ years. It happens, we all get pissed sometimes. And my personal mod belief is that it's better to give someone a heads up via PM rather than just deleting their comment.jdk82 wrote:Uh, yes. It was you this was directed to. Can anyone explain the trend of women taking pictures of their eyelids for me? I assume it's to show off makeup, but I can see your eyeshadow when your eyes are open.

It's bad enough that I have to hear your phone go off every fifteen minutes for the various news and weather alerts you've signed up for. Please don't also announce to everyone in your general vicinity what the alert is about every single time. If I gave a [expletive] I would sign up for the alerts myself.

The new evening office cleaning guy likes to whistle and sing to himself tunelessly while emptying all the trash bins. While the cheerfulness is charming, I cannot tune it out and hate it.

Is his name Fred? Until a few months ago we had a guy working here who would sing while cleaning the bathrooms. I'm assuming he was just always singing while working.Arthur Dent wrote:The new evening office cleaning guy likes to whistle and sing to himself tunelessly while emptying all the trash bins.
