Are you guys starting to get excited for the playoffs yet?

It depends where they they end up. If they finish as the WC1 and end up in the Pacific side I think they could make some noise. That seems pretty unlikely though since it they win enough to pass the WC1 they'll likely pass Nashville and become the 3rd seed in the Central and play Minnesota of Chicago.

Of potential opponents I'd least like the blues to play for me it's:

Chicago
(Big gap)
San Jose
(Small gap)
Minnesota

I'm excited no matter what because hockey playoffs are my favorite time of year.

My son and I are coming down for the Flames vs Blues on Saturday. It's our first Blues game but we have been to other NHL games. We also are going on a Busch Stadium tour, something else we haven't done yet.

I work part time in a bowling alley. Last night I heard some dude in the bar cackling about he knew more about hockey than anybody, ANYBODY. He asked who the last guy to play without a helmet was without googling. I stopped in my tracks, poked my head in the bar and answered 'Craig McTavish'. He said 'Nope, Guy LeFluer'. Ok, so I was wrong. When I got home I looked it up and I was right. I so wanted to go back and stick my phone in his face, but it was late and I was tired.

Oh, I forgot the best part. I was wearing a Blues jersey I got like in the mid 90's, and some guy came up to me, said he loved it and that he was originally from St. Louis, and he loves the Blues.
He was later one of the dudes at the table trying to figure out what the answer was. He said, 'It wasn't Ken McTravis'. Holy crap dude. I'm not even from there and I know better than that.

Now I just smile when I think about Craig skating around with no helmet and that curly hair waving in the breeze. Awesome memory.
