LSU is an 8 point dog playing Alabama Saturday night in Baton Rouge. LSU is on a roll, though they haven't really had a tough opponent (Ole Miss, meh). Still, Coach O has the team firing. And, this is a talented team.

Still, Alabama is Alabama and on a roll of their own. Who would you take if you were a gambling person?

Also, LSU has two losses (Wisco and Auburn), but they have games left against Bama (1), Florida (10ish), aTm (4), and Arkansas (25ish) left in the SEC. Then, a possible SEC Championship game. I think they control their own destiny in terms of winning the West (maybe need bama to beat Auburn). Let's say they run the table, does a two loss SEC champ get into the playoff? I think they would.

Still don't understand how aTm is in over Washington, though.

Where's Les Miles going to end up?

Will Mizzou dump Odom? I doubt it.

He'll get whatever the best job is that opens up. I don't think that job's been identified yet.

And no, Odom's not going anywhere.

What a waste of a year for Mizzou. I know it's Odoms first, but there's not been much positive come out of it and no reason to be optimistic.

I would never bet against a Nick Saban Alabama team. You either bet on them or sit it out. If I had to bet on that game I'd still take Bama. I don't think LSU has enough offense to win the game outright, so I'd rather take the favorite than hope for a close loss.
