Oh, I'm sure she isn't the only one. I've made my position clear more than once that I want his butt arrested and in jail (or dead) but she's just not going to go through with it and I can't make her. Sucks but we'll just have to deal with it I guess. Thankfully she's leaving in a couple of hours to go out of town to take care of her cousin's kid for the weekend so I don't have to worry about him showing up when I'm not there and kicking the crap out of her again this weekend.

I was about to muse this again.
Flank steak jerky from G & W. And all things considered, not that expensive.
That stuff is so, so, so very good. As is pretty much everything at G&W, up to and including the fact that they give you free beer, regardless of time of day, while you shop.

As does LeGrand's if you're a regular. At least my brother always gave me one when he worked there

I toss/recycle every glass 6 and 4 pack bottle (sorry Jim...4pack... come back you jackass btw) but feel compelled to keep every glass growler I buy, for eternity.

My side gig which has one part-time employee is about to sign its first licensing deal. Now it's just a short line manufacturer so it's not a huge deal, but it feels like a huge step. I think I may need another employee soon.

There's this chick in the film "The American" that is pretty much perfect.

When you take a 3 y.o. to a large stadium event (US Womens Nat Team game at the new Vikings stadium) and he insists on running his hands along railings as we go up and down stairs, and then when you stop at the grocery store on the way home and you have to tell him twice to stop running his mouth along the back of the seat in the cart with the race car on the front of the cart (and you don't know how long he had been doing it before you saw him the first time), you know he's in for a nasty cold in a couple of days and may have to stay home from day care.
