Just started Parenthood on Netflix. I like it. About halfway through season 1.

I've watched a few episodes on Netflix of "Foyle's War"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0310455/
British historical fictional drama based on detective working on cases during WWII. A little Scooby-doo ish. Good story telling though the Brits make their TV slower moving than I'm used to.

Good stuff, I'm going to stick with it. 90 min episodes - my biggest hurdle-staying up that late.

Foyle's War and Poirot are my go-to for any weekend day where I have a hangover. Close the blinds and let the pleasant but mildly stimulating British procedurals carry me to recovery.

You're The Worst was really cool last week. It replayed the episode before but from Edgar's POV. Was a lot like the depression episodes last year, quite dark.

The People vs OJ Simpson was spectacular. Despite the fact you know most of the story, the verdict, the Bronco, the glove, the twists, everything is well-scripted, acted, directed, shot - it's the most phenomenal ten hour series I've seen in several years.

Speechless has been really good on ABC thru its first 3 episodes. Really creative.

I'm digging Luke Cage. He was always my favorite non-X-men related Marvel superhero. It is pretty crazy watching Marvel go down this dark and gritty style with their Netflix series' compared to the much more action popcorn flick styled movies. The Agents of SHIELD show on ABC is kind of in between.

Daredevil was slow and somewhat dark and gritty. Jessica Jones was about the same pace, but a little darker still. Luke Cage has a lot of violence going on and ridiculous dark/grit. I can't even count how many n-bombs I hear each episode anymore. I don't think there have been any f-bombs, but I honestly think n-bombs are worse.

I'm looking forward to what Marvel will be doing with the rest of the Defenders based series' coming to Netflix. I also heard Cloak & Dagger will be coming to Freeform next year - that will be odd. Very odd.

I loved it as well even with Schwimmer saying "Juice" every ten minutes.

Sweet Christmas.

It was great. A little drawn out, but I really, really dug it, too.
