I've just started watching The West Wing on Netflix. About ten episodes in. Definitely liking it so far.

I'm sorry, but the People vs OJ Simpson was not a good show, how is it winning Emmys?

Because it was a good show?Secret Weapon wrote:I'm sorry, but the People vs OJ Simpson was not a good show, how is it winning Emmys?
Paulson, Brown and Vance were all incredible in their roles.

Travolta, Gooding, and Schwimmer saying juice 200 times every show ruined it for me. I just couldn't take it seriously.MrCrowesGarden wrote:Because it was a good show?Secret Weapon wrote:I'm sorry, but the People vs OJ Simpson was not a good show, how is it winning Emmys?

I agree Schwimmer was annoying. Travolta was his classic overacting self. Cuba was whatever. Fortunately, at least for me, they weren't really the focus of the series. The three actors who won all deserved it.

I'm home on a Tuesday watching "T.I. and Tiny." It's not bad.

You are absolutely right. Those three were so good that you forget how silly Travolta was, and how Schwimmer was basically Ross Geller. Cuba was completely miscast, but it doesn't take away how great the whole thing was.MrCrowesGarden wrote:I agree Schwimmer was annoying. Travolta was his classic overacting self. Cuba was whatever. Disclosure: I was never a fan of friends.
If I see David Schwimmer is in something then I immediately decide I'm never watching it no matter what. I couldn't stand him on that show, such a whiny little [expletive deleted], and I just can't get past that.
