On Friday I bought a sixer of Veteran beer. It was really good. here's their story:
We were founded to get Vets back to work and help them start in again after leaving the military.
So a big chunk of revenues go to Vets. And each area of our company and supply chain employ Veterans.
Hence, our true-to-form name.
The guy giving samples in the beer store said all employees are vets and all their suppliers are vet-owned. They donate something like 10% of revenue to vets - particularly to help with PTSD and vet suicides.

I tried all three shown. All good. I bought the IPA.

4 Hands Incarnation (formerly called Resurrected) is a very good IPA. I like the use of 100% mosaic hops, it makes for a nice contrast to the IPAs that so commonly lean on Citra and the other Big C hops. I'm enjoying this one.

as I suspected - ABinbev products are hogging space in my grocery store beer aisle in the form of Elysian Space Dust IPA and Goose Island Green Line etc etc

That's the distributor twisting arms under massive pressure from the 'brewery.' I'd rather not wind myself up about that whole thing on the internet. It's awful. ABInBev has a Citizens United-grade ability to influence what's on the corner of the aisle, what's got the most space, what's on this shelf or that shelf. It's gross.

Yep. If you go back into this thread -that has been my chief concern about Big Beer (ugh, that term!) - their undue influence on aisle space and taps, not that they'd take over everything.. It's still a golden age for beer drinkers, and I don't mind, scratch, I enjoy the pursuit of good beers. But occasionally I enjoy an easy craft beer pickup with my grocery shopping.

Which is why as a meager form of protest, I avoid all their products as a rule - all Goose Island, and now the Elysian products. Though admittedly, I purchased Elysian Space Dust and then learned it was ABinbev. It's not that good - space dust.

I didn't realize that Elysian was inbev either...hmmm, i'll be damned. I didn't think it was bad, but there are plenty out there that are better.

If I still want a "regular" beer, my go to is either Bud or Bud Select. Michelob Golden Light being my 3rd choice.

Elysian Space dust isn't bad, but not good enough for me to want to buy it over a more independent brewer.

an when it comes to the much-maligned IPAs - where in the hell can I get the fantastic Racer 5 IPA anymore?

Hmmm, I've pretty much quit drinking except for the occasional beer or two every few weeks so i literally sit on a 6 pack for over a month so I'm not exactly replenishing stock very often.

I would typically have to go to places like Friar Tucks or something like that to find Racer 5.
