Just saw this news, and it made me so happy. Thanks for stepping up, Kyle. And Michael, thanks for creating and running this place for a solid decade. I appreciate everything you've done for us.

Kyle, you're gonna need a good lawyer to defend butt shorts-related lawsuits. Lipp may talk a good talk, but I specialize in message board litigation. I'll send you my card. Reasonable doubt at a reasonable rate.

Woohoo! Thanks to all players involved - Michael, Kyle, soon-to-be-old/new mods!

I was lured into Cards Talk in the winter of 05/06 actually because my brother was excited about someone seeing AJ Burnet at Lambert. It was pretty intolerable and I was about to give up on it when I happened to see a post from Leroy pointing people here. I've tried a few other boards of varying focus since then, but none holds a candle to GRB. I'm glad this is going to continue.

Now that GRB has been saved, all you former regulars who stopped by to say goodbye need to start posting again. You've been missed.

Congratulations Kyle! Unexpected but cool.

How will new moderators be decided? Hunger games style?

I'd throw my hat in the ring to bring a different perspective to the moderating team. I just switched jobs and have a lot more free time now.

Thanks for keeping it going Michael!
