Also, Ford. And your lifetime is more like two MLB divisions, putting Obama in the middle of the pack - the 2016 New York Mets.

Average approval rating Obama is 10 out of 13. He beats Truman and Carter. End of term I don't know, but I don't think he's "popular" by my definition. Maybe OK, but not popular.

He's a .500 bal lteam. He won't make the playoffs, he didn't embarrass himself and he wasn't awful, but things didn't go as well as many hoped.

Some may not want to hear it but Obama is going to go down as an excellent president.

Broke the color barrier then won re-election. That is a pretty momentous thing. Helped the nation recover from one of the biggest economic meltdowns in decades. Gay marriage. The Paris Climate Change pact. Obamacare. Bin Laden. Cuba relations. The Iran deal. The 73 consecutive months of job growth. Etc.

His biggest negatives are: 1) the drone strikes 2) The NSA privacy thing and 3) He wasn't able to figure out a way to reduce inequality (although simply due to the improving economy, inequality has reduced some during his time anyway). He will get a pass on certain things (like failing to close Gitmo) due to the insane Congress we forced him to work with.

He's still got a shot at that second wildcard in the expanded playoffs, and you know the Selig game is basically a crapshoot.

Yeah, but the ESPN guys were overrating him hugely pre-season. His weaker performance in the easy schedule through May set him back, but he made up some ground in the tough second half by keeping his record over 0.500 against the strongest opponents.

I said he'll be a popular ex-president.

Obama would also quite easily win a 3rd term against anyone the GOP would throw at him.

I voted for Obama twice. I expected more. I'm not saying I regret voting for him, but I'm not enamored by any stretch of the imagination. To me C grade is appropriate.
