Re: The Video Game Thread
I'll certainly download Saints Row IV. I just hope that the stupid game works right for me so I can finish it finally. I hope I still have my old save files. I had gotten it from GameFly and got to the final mission... but something was messed up and I couldn't finish it. At the point a tank or something is supposed to show up for me to destroy, it just doesn't. And the rest of the city is completely deserted. Literally can't do anything but run around or end the mission. So frustrating!!!

Breaking News: The Show 16' is still good
Although, there are a couple tweaks that take some getting used to when it comes to tracking the balls in the OF (at least when playing RTTS).
They've sped up the gameplay nicely by eliminating some stuff that definitely slowed down the game (like when you were on base you played though the entire pitch sequence in 15, and in 16 you go to the point in the count were the guy at bat does something....which is good/bad because it definitely limits the amount of chances to swipe a bag if that's something in your players tools). I'm guessing the old style is something you could go back to if you preferred that.
I haven't put in enough time to see all the changes, but I'm sure the game will be great (as always).

Talking of Saints Row (my favourite game series ever, probably), I played through all the games as the same Boss - large fella, very pale skin, bright green hair and a beard, English accent. I thought I'd have a go at SR2 again, but with a different character...and it felt very strange. I missed my Boss.

I'd have a look at one of the forums, or GameFAQs or something, as if it's well-known bug you might be able to work round it. Also, I don't think it's the last mission as that involves fighting Zinyak in that massive room (I think, it's been a while since I played through it).tlombard wrote:I'll certainly download Saints Row IV. Re: The Video Game Thread
Dead space has the best sound design I've ever heard in a game. It begs for a good surround sound speaker system or surround headphones. It will make everything way creepier.
