The Baz Luhrman Netflix show 'The Get Down' looks really promising.

If you liked The Wire, no reason you shouldn't watch "Show Me a Hero." I'm up to the last episode. It takes a while to get going and probably isn't as consistent as The Wire, but it's good for all the same reasons.
If they can't have Civics classes in school anymore, would be nice if they could at least screen David Simon's TV shows.

Finished it last night. Bittersweet ending, but probably a bit more hopeful than where The Wire lands.

Saw the BCS- Chuck actor Michael McKean in an interview. I'm probably the last to know he was in "Spinal Tap"
He does a great job as Chuck, but seems so unlike him.

The BBC version of "And Then There Were None" was well done. I've read the book and seen a half dozen movie versions, so I can't be surprised by the ending, but I still enjoyed it.

I find myself doing this more often.

And when I'm trying to get something to magically work - I'll do that "Presto!" thing he does towards his answering machine

Daredevil is so much fun. Nothing groundbreaking going on other than the fights are almost uniformly great. But it's all done well - good actors, with enough avoidance of tropes to make it feel fresh. Elektra has annoyed me a bit, but I'm warming up to her as she drops the bad girl act. I'm up to episode 9 and she had been giving me flashbacks to Lila from Dexter season 2.

'Fantastic Lies' is a 30 for 30 on the Duke LAX team. Very interesting and well done. Making a Murderer-esque but complete and contained.

BCS has been very Kim focused the past couple episodes, would prefer a little more Saul and Mike
