i've become interested in this story since a day or so ago (it all started last week i think)

so the fine brothers, 2 brothers who produce youtube content were trying to trademark the word "react" (they have a popular series of reaction videos, kids react to whatever, grandparents react to whatever, etc). basically they wanted to control a genre, make a brand out of it and stop anyone who tried to do their own version of it. well the internet wasn't having it and after a week they are shutting their project.
