Yes, the fire is awful, and no I don't think it had anything to do with drugs, just being an [expletive].

It sounds like there wasn't massive loss of life, which I thought might have happened on seeing the images. Multiple reports saying the building was evacuated smoothly.

Must have been really odd to be festive and watching the fireworks show while a few blocks away a 1000 foot tall building is engulfed by flames.

Sounds like the one of the fireworks might have been what caused the blaze to begin with.
