Re: The Official WTF Thread
Apparently that principal's wife accused of stealing thousands from the book fair is somebody I've met. Her husband (the principal) is the principal and softball coach of a good friend's daughter. And of course my friend and her have become good friends because their daughters are BFFs.
Over the last couple of years the team has gotten nice new uniforms, bags, helmets, etc. and they've traveled to tournaments and such. They have had a few fundraisers that I've participated in (just had a bags tournament the 14th even) and the parents have spent a lot of money on the stuff BUT the coach and his wife have put a bunch of their own money into things too. I'm wondering if they spent a chunk of that stolen money on the team.
No matter what, even though the husband hasn't been charged yet, he's going down and it is probably time for my friend to start looking for another team for her daughter because I can't see that situation being pretty with all of the kids attending the school where he was the principal and his wife was stealing.
