I'd like to take a wet, greasy [expletive] all over her face.

Woman Sues her young nephew for this:...her then-8-year-old nephew, excited to see her arriving at his birthday party, jumped into her arms, causing her to fall and break her wrist...When he spotted Connell, he dropped his new bicycle on the ground and ran toward her calling out, “Auntie Jen, Auntie Jen.”
“All of a sudden he was there in the air, I had to catch him and we tumbled onto the ground,” Connell testified. “I remember him shouting, ‘Auntie Jen I love you,’ and there he was flying at me.”, the boy, now 12, appeared confused as he sat with his father in a courtroom in Bridgeport, the state’s largest city, the paper reported. The boy’s mother died last year

i love her reasons on how its impacted her life
But, Connell continued, her life was turned upside down as a result of the injury.
“I live in Manhattan in a third-floor walk-up so it has been very difficult,” she said. “And we all know how crowded it is in Manhattan.”
And then there is the damage the injury has done to Connell’s social life.
“I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate,” she said.

How was the case not dismissed? Or does that not apply here somehow?

A broken wrist affects her walking? I guess she's not just a knuckle-dragger in the figurative sense.

They appeared on today show together with her saying lawsuit was about making an insurance claim. so she is that kind of asshat.
Does this lady not have health insurance?
I know I know, she is demonized enough in media- but it takes a special asshat class of people to think their accidental injuries are not their own deal.

There's accidental injuries, and then there's THIS kind of accidental injury which leans even heavier to this woman being a complete asshat.Freed Roger wrote:They appeared on today show together with her saying lawsuit was about making an insurance claim. so she is that kind of asshat.

It is a way to scam some money. obviously we aren't privy to the "family" financial state, but if I were to guess, this isn't a hardship situation -even if she has 6 figure debt on store credit cards.
