So my friend's band is playing a reunion show at Twangfest. They'll be without one of the members who died in a house fire the other day.

going to see Sufjan Stevens tonight. I have no idea what to expect but I know that it's going to be awesome.

I always got Sufjan Stevens confused with the lead singer of a System of a Down, Serj Tankian, so i never gave him a chance.

Apparently i had been doing myself an injustice for quite some time.

going to see Sufjan Stevens tonight. I have no idea what to expect but I know that it's going to be awesome.

His new album is a very hushed, somber affair that most reviewers have likened to Elliott Smith (it's about his parents) So probably expect less angel wings, backup tabernacle, neon lights and calliopes.

I used to be a huge Built to Spill fan, but their last few albums have been really mediocre.

But their new album sounds promising. Here, listen to this. It is good.
