I collect 2000AD comics (the UK's finest sci-fi comic, been going since the late 70s, home of Judge Dredd) and bought 15 boxes of comics off some guy for £112. Good deal, even though I wouldn't want all of them, some nice rarities in there.
The seller was super-quick to communicate while the auction was ongoing, but I noticed after I'd paid that the guy's address wasn't on the transaction details, so I couldn't arrange a courier. No problem, I thought, I'll just ask him for it. That was three days ago, and I'm beginning to get the feeling that the guy is less than thrilled to sell them to me for that much money and is regretting listing them at that low price.
I may be being paranoid, after a few poor experiences recently, but I get the feeling I'm never going to see those boxes.Oh, people of eBay, why don't you just list your stuff at the lowest price you're willing to accept for it?
Please share your awful eBay experiences and let's rant at morons together.

Re: Rant: eBay
Not an eBay rant, per se, but one time when the new PS4 or something like that came out, demand was super high as not nearly enough were in circulation upon release and Christmas was just on the horizon. My bff's brother had slept at a wal mart, bought three at retail price of $400 each and sold them for a total of like $5k. Not a bad deal.
So, my bff and I go to ebay where we see one for sale for like $1200. We figure...hey, that's a steal! These things are selling for $1600 right now. So, we bought it. A week later and after the release of more PS4s from the maker, we get it in and the demand has dropped from $1600ish to about $400 (retail price). [expletive].
We relisted it like $700 and got a ton of spam/fake offers. Eventually, some lady bought it for $500 a couple days before Christmas. Good job.
