Good win. Sets Nashville vs. Chicago. We'll get Winnipeg or Minnesota in the 1st round.

Ducks win, so we get Minny. Should be a good series. The last game doesn't mean much, as both teams played without regulars. The Wild are a good team, but we should be able to take them in a 7 game series. We will see.

Ells or Jake?

Right now it's Allen for me. If this were any team but the Blues I'd be pretty confident predicting a series win. The Wild are a strong team but the Blues are better in almost every facet. If they lose this series I'd imagine they'll shake up some of the core.

How many good to great cores have not made to the Finals? Maybe they need to change the name and switch the home and visitors locker rooms to trick the hockey gods.

I'm not even an advocate of a core shake up regardless of the outcome of this series tbh, but there had been some speculation in the past of it happening if this team can't make a deep run this year. Quite a few very good cores have not made it to the finals (most notably San Jose) but assuming they lose this series it will be four straight series losses with home ice. They haven't won a single second round game. I don't think they are cursed or a bad team theyve just had the misfortune of running into the two best teams in hockey the last three years. Like I said I'm not an advocate of a shake up but wouldn't be surprised to see one if they lost either. This is hopefully irrelevant and the team makes a deep run this year like I feel they will.

My comment was only referring to Blues cores.

Those are EST.

This is going to be a brutal series. Minnesota and Winnipeg are the only two teams that actually worry me in the West. The Kane-less Hawks can shut you down but they don't have the firepower to win a 7 game series without him. Vancouver and Calgary are walkovers, and while Anaheim and Nashville are both very good and would probably win the East, I don't think they can match up with StL, Minnesota, or the Jets.

Poor Bruce Boudreau... he's the Blues of coaching.

Annnnnd Kane is back... 5 weeks earlier than the earliest he was expected. Check him for deer antler spray.

Are the playoffs going to be available via streaming? Seems like a good time to jump on the bandwagon
