I just scratched my ankles bloody. I get this dry itchy skin in the winter. I just want to dig and dig and dig and dig. I found some Calamine lotion in my drawer and put some on and that helped.

I hate winter.

I switched to this shower soap once it got cold and it's worked really well for me. My legs got really itchy last year and I knew I had to be proactive about not letting them get that way again. But it's also been a much milder winter this year so that might be the biggest factor. Worth a shot though.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it. It's horrible, it's as bad as poison ivy. I'll try anything.

It is just so freaking dreary. Grey, the snow is all grey, my garage is a mess, my car inside is a mess. This is when it gets to be a mental game.

Brutal day. We have yet to see anything of a thaw. We had 40 the other day.

I don't really believe 10 day forecast but mine says:
Sunday: 81/Sunny
Monday: 81/Partly Cloudy
Tuesday: 80/AM Showers

Damn the partly cloudy and AM showers! Damn them!

I've been to NYC. No reason to go back, ever.

Mrs. Rad was scheduled to fly to Boston tomorrow to visit the kid. Southwest notified her yesterday that she could reschedule her trip at no charge. She is on her way this morning. Couldn't get non-stop - she has to change planes in Chicago (it was either there or Baltimore). Scheduled to arrive in Boston at 4:35 - ahead of the heavy snow from what the latest forecast says. So far everything is on time.

Meanwhile, it's going to be 72 and sunny here today.
