It was the right call, just terribly executed. I think they waited until after the penalty was announced to huddle up.Socnorb11 wrote:How the hell did the refs drum up the logic to reverse the interference call against the Cowboys? That was awful.

seemed like the defender didn't make a play, just mauled the receiver.cardsfansince82 wrote:It was the right call, just terribly executed. and how did Cowboys get an extra set of downs on the go ahead TD. I saw the play, and stopped paying attention thinking it was FG time.
all these wildcard teams suck

It was an awful call. You're right about it being executed poorly, though.

yeah that's a no-brainer. Detroit is not a good team, but that's a lot of home cookin for Dallas. it makes NFL playoffs into ice skating competition where the outcome is affected by the whims of some judge.Socnorb11 wrote:cardsfansince82 wrote:It was the right call, just terribly executed. I would love to hear an explanation as to how that was the right call. Please elaborate. Even Buck, Aikman and Pereira said it was clearly interference.cardsfansince82 wrote:It was the right call, just terribly executed. BTW...how did Dez not get flagged for running on the field. Oh, and how would he have reacted if he was the receiver? Edit: Florio agrees with me...http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... uted-play/

Re: NFL Playoffs 2015
Yeah, Dez definitely should have been flagged, too.
If both of those calls are made (as they should have been), the Lions have a first down on the 15 yard line. At minimum, they get a field goal there, and it changes the entire dynamic of the game.

Watch the reverse angle where the receiver clearly grabs his facemask and pulls him into the contact. You can't call pass interference and not the facemask that caused it. I'm fine with that being a no call and I hate the Cowboys.stlouie_lipp wrote:I would love to hear an explanation as to how that was the right call. Please elaborate. Re: NFL Playoffs 2015
That was the only thing that I thought they (the refs) could have hanged their hat on. But he didn't pull him into the contact IMO and they didn't throw a flag for that. A no call, maybe, but to pick up the flag, no way. Especially the way they call PI anymore. And to top it off to not flag Dez = inexcusable.cardsfansince82 wrote:Watch the reverse angle where the receiver clearly grabs his facemask and pulls him into the contact.
