Despite my aching back I did Yoga and a walk today. The walk was short because of my back, but I did manage a full Yoga work out. It hurt though. I basically spent the last week letting my back allow me to be lazy. Not going to let that continue.

I ate and drank on NYE. Then the next day I sat on my fat ass and played poker for 9 hours.

Thanks, Obama!

I'm still hungover! I did a spin class this morning, and since I didn't have to work I goofed around and did some core work and then just shot baskets for a half hour. But damn I'm still feeling NYE.

I've also gained 3 pounds, no big deal but I want to make sure and get that off before I go to Mexico in 4 weeks. Today I ate healthy and I haven't had a drop of alcohol since 1AM NYE. So yesterday basically. I haven't had a drop of alcohol since yesterday and I fell the need to mention that. Hmmmm.

I'm guessing GRB will soon have a set of mods named Knuckles and Guido. I'm just hoping Michael can get his underwear out of hock soon.

Thinkin bout cancelling my gym membership and investing in these babies, but not sure if i wanna drop $600 on them, even though that is a year's worth of gym fees.

I don't, but I'm just going to make a comment about canceling the gym. I know everyone is different, but the key thing my gym provides me is variety, and the key thing that keeps me from getting burnt out is variety. This morning I lifted lightly for 20 minutes, took an hour spin class, swam for 20 minutes, and then took an hour yoga class. All this stuff is included in my membership btw. Variety - cross training if that makes me sound cooler - is key both mentally and physically. I just personally can't see myself really staying in shape at home. My wife has a stair master that she has used for many years, but she still goes to the gym. It's a supplement.

But again, I don't know you and I don't know your gym, but I guess I'm just putting the thought out there that you should think about that before you drop the membership and do something pretty one dimensional at home.
