Maybe WTF thread is more appropriate.

If not for the freakin' boat oars, I'd kind of like those.
In the meantime, Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen is apparently a huge fan of Cousin Eddie, per his pic from the MSU coaches holiday part:

Applicants for the Wisconsin head coaching job included Bronco Mendenhall, and some guy whose resume stated he won the national PlayStation football championship in 1997.

It was chippy all throughout. I don't know who started it, but probably plenty of blame to go around. I heard an announcer say Memphis threw the first punch, but who knows.Joe Shlabotnik wrote:So who started it at the end of BYU/Memphis?

Two top 10 teams playing at 11:30 when most people still have to work. Who are the ad wizards that came up with that one!?

He had several up and down years and then recruited Ron Dayne and won two more Rose Bowls. He beat Ohio St and Michigan sometimes. As AD he has had his share of problems but the men's hoops team makes him look good and he clearly wants football to compete at a high level. So he gets a lot of leeway.
When Alvarez exposes his legacy with a (vain?) 2d annual return coaching appearance - he needs to win one of them.
It kind of ruins the storyline when Atticus Finch misses the dog.
