Unclear. In NFL terms, he's questionable for Tuesday's game. He's been practicing light for three days now.mikechamp wrote:Is Altidore out for the rest of this World Cup?

Beans. I wanted Chile, but then again the WC drama builds more with Brazil in it.

Re: 2014 World Cup
Seems like the play in today's knockout round picked up a notch, especially Chile Brazil. It's hard to fathom US competing at that level, but then again, the Ghana Germany game was pretty intense, and US managed to work some voodoo on them.
My 51 y/o brother who is a soccer guy (former college player/coached HS and College soccer/speaks same language as Trill and FatStrat humblebrag on big bro etc) now thinks the US can win a WC in his lifetime. He cited more parity overall, so teams aren't able to cruise thru groups, and how the venue can be a factor, improving MLS, confidence gained from last few WC.

What's the deal with #3 there? Shouldn't he be jumping in front of the kick to block it instead of away from it?JackofDiamonds wrote:James. Rodriguez. That was amazing.
