Newby question....I am trying to look up the CONCACAF qualifying results to understand the road the USA had to take to get to where they are. Did the qualifying rounds begin way back in June 2012, and then conclude in November 2013?

It was Feb. 2013 - Oct. 2013.

When I looked on the CONCACAF web site there was a "Group Stage" that went from June 2012 to October 2012. Then they referred to the Feb 2013-Oct 2013 as the "Fourth Round" stage. Whatever. If people are curious, here is what they did to get here:

February 6, 2013 - Honduras 2, USA 1
March 22, 2013 - USA 1, Costa Rica 0
March 26, 2013 - Mexico 0, USA 0
June 7, 2013 - Jamaica 1, USA 2
June 11, 2013 - USA 2, Panama 0
June 18, 2013 - USA 1, Honduras 0
September 6, 2013 - Costa Rica 3, USA 1
September 10, 2013 - USA 2, Mexico 0
October 11, 2013 - USA 2, Jamaica 0
October 15, 2013 - Panama 2, USA 3

Overall they went 7 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses and outscored opponents 15-8.

A buddy at work is streaming whatever game is on right now....looks like Brazil and someone.....a dude is sprinting with the ball, stops, changes directions and rolls over on his own foot.

He then collapses into a fetal position while grabbing his ankle while his face contorts with screams of pain. Incidental contact...AT BEST.

But his [expletive] and moaning secures him a foul and free kick.
