Totally outplayed. Or else I don't know how to watch soccer properly.

What are they saying about jozy? At a crowded bar and they don't have the sound on.

Defense has been terrible. How did Ghana not score on that one possession right before the half? A half decent shot and the game could've been tied like that.

rom USA TODAY Sports’ Nancy Armour:
NATAL, Brazil — Jozy Altidore has been taken off the field on a stretcher with a strained left hamstring.
U.S. Soccer confirmed the injury.
The forward was sprinting up the left side of the field in the 19th minute when he pulled up suddenly, wincing and grabbing his left hamstring. He immediately fell to the ground and covered his eyes with his hand. As trainers approached, he held an index finger up, but was clearly in pain.
He was replaced by Aron Johannsson.
The U.S. has been counting on a big World Cup from Altidore, who set a record last summer with goals in five consecutive games. But he went into scoring slump for both club and country, even briefly losing his place on the bench at Sunderland. He ended the drought with two goals in the final warm-up game against Nigeria, and said his confidence had never been in doubt.
Replacing Altidore
Aron Johannsson came off the bench in Altidore’s place.
Johannsson isn't a step down from Altidore. More a step to the side. Different type of player, skill set. Exciting to see it play out.—

Halftime. Ghana is an annoying team to watch. Their strategy is obvious. Send balls over the top from the left side of our defense. Beasley has been awful. And our center backs are doing a good job of cleaning up, but eventually Ghana's going to find an opening and put one through.
This is all because we're having a difficult time holding posession. Ghana is causing some of that, but not all. They are playing solid defense and they're winning the contested balls. But, Bradley has made some bad decisions and mistakes. Right now, Jermaine Jones has done the best job of holding possession and creating, which is absurd... he's no good at that, imo. Bedoya has looked fine on the other side in limited opportunities, but Bradley hasn't delivered a good ball to an attacker or the wings yet.
Altidore out is probably not as big of a deal as it seems. I mean, his loss is going to make us weaker. I'm not denying that. But, I like what Wondo and Johansson can do. They can score. It could also give some chances to Julian Greene.

Looking really rough right now. The US is constantly back on its heels, shots on goal every few minutes at least.
