A $399 Xbox One without Kinect will be available in all markets where the console is sold starting June 9, Microsoft revealed in a statement Tuesday.
They also announced apps like netflix will not longer be behind their paywall. About time.

I'm interested but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I haven't played an FF game since 7. Which was my favorite game of all time. I just don't want to be let down.letsgocards89 wrote:Any other Final Fantasy XIV players out there?

I enjoy it. I'm a fan of the series. I've not played all of them, but most of the main ones. There's several references to earlier versions, such as using "Wild Rose" as a code word (FF2) or a small town named Costa Del Sol (FF7) as well as several mainstays like chocobos and moogles.IMADreamer wrote:I'm interested but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. It's nothing really special mechanically, and it's pretty easy to get to max level. The dungeons do get progressively harder, but they're not all that tough until end-game. The one thing that is different from other MMO's I've played is that there's an full story line of regular Final Fantasy-esque missions to do as you level up.
All in all it's fun, but it's not going to supplant FF7 as your favorite. They're just two different animals.

I played it for awhile on my tablet and still have it on there but I had to stop. I was spending too much time just collecting and since I refuse to spend any money on those games, my town wasn't really going anywhere. I just had an ugly town full of brown houses because that was the most efficient way to make cash fast since you can collect every five minutes and they are cheap to build. No streets... just masses of brown houses in my town!!!

i just have one of each building. it definitely started slow but once you start unlocking quest chains, and get more characters (for free), you can really start getting money. plus theres the dog track, the channel 6 news station to earn money. i hate to admit but i have spent 20$ on donuts for various things (hans moleman for one) but i dont think i'll buy anything else. i've got like 15+ characters unlocked and usually have them do hour jobs when im at work and such and the money comes pretty fast.

Re: The Video Game Thread
I realized I had a problem when I would schedule jobs to coincide with any free time that I had. I would try and have them finish jobs right when I got off and then stick to hourly jobs the rest of the night and be on my tablet constantly until I went to bed and would try and schedule jobs to finish when my alarm was going off. I was the same way with the Jurassic Park Builder game. I haven't played any of them for the past few months though. I'm down to just my Paplinko addiction. I make sure to play that at least once a day so I keep getting the daily bonuses.
