So as mentioned, Weezer will be playing the ryman for two nights as part of a "Blue Album Anniversary" tour.

The first night the will be playing the blue album all the way through so naturally that one sold at INSTANTLY.

I was only able to snag a single ticket for the next night, Pinkerton Album. I am PISSED because amex had a presale that i didn't find out about until it was too late.

Not really thrilled but...oh well, i figure i'll prolly never get a chance to see them again, so what the hey.

It's cool though, because Pinkerton is better than the Blue Album.

The Blue Album is great. But it's great like getting your first handie in high school. Pinkerton is great like getting your first beej in college.

They're both amazing albums in their own way (Blue vs Pinkerton)...it's like the OK Computer/Kid A discussion...both are A+ work, but different.

More like the Blue Album is like getting your first beej in high school and Pinkerton is like going home with a very mediocre looking girl from a party, but then you give in cause she won't stop calling and then you find she's actually really kinda cool so you end up liking her and then you date her for a bit, but you'll never forget about your first beej because it was so awesome and then you cheat on Pinkerton with the Blue Album when you go back to visit on christmas break

i don't really know where this is going anymore.. Blue Album > Pinkerton

HEADS UP: NEW DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS ALBUM DROPPED TODAY

Also, i hadn't realized this, but Chris Carrabba, of Dashboard Confessional and Further Seems Forever, has a new band and a new album out...Twin Forks, self titled. I'm listening to it right now and it's really good. It's different from his old emo/alterntaive stuff....folksy/country/americana. For anyone that would be interested. Frank Turner fans would prolly like this album.

I just listened to Radiohead's King of Limbs again for the first time since basically the week it came out. It's not good. That's the first Radiohead album I've ever actively disliked. There's a rumor that they've recorded a new album at Jack White's studio. I hope that's true. I hope that means they remembered what guitars are. And melodies. And song structure at all, really.
