I was at this game and we left early because my dad was pissed off and thought they were going to lose. Herr had previously had a bad plate appearance or something in a key situation. Iirc, we left early because the mets had a big lead. On the way home, we listened to the game and I remember thinking we should turn around. When we got home, my mom was like....WTF are you guys doing here. The Cardinals are winning. Then, the mets came back. Then, Tommy Herr hits a walk off. And we celebrated same as if we were at the stadium. Ahhhhhh......never leave early. Lesson learned. I was 4 years old when that happened. Crazy.
