Thanks. I looked at that and immediately thought the connection would have to be soldered and therefore beyond probably 95% of DIYers. Then I spend like 30 minutes googleing various thing to see if there was some jelly bean type splicer that would connect such widely different gauges of wire but didn't really find anything.

The whole time it never occurred to me to just crimp a terminal to the hanger. I'm pretty dense sometimes.

I'm ditching uverse and going to internet-only in a week.

I'd like to find a media player with an Amazon app, network streaming, multiple file type support (avi, mkv, mp4 etc), and MLBTV. The Logitech Revue I currently own is crapping out and it doesn't support Amazon video or MLBTV. Same problem with the WD Live box, although it looks awesome when it comes to the file support and network stuff. The Roku 3 doesn't play .avi files, which is pretty much a dealbreaker for me. The Xbox only plays .wmv files IIRC. Apparently the PS4 doesn't do [expletive] except its native file formats, it won't even play mp3s.

Definitely wouldn't have thought of that and it looks like it'll work. Thanks.

I may be too cynical, but I think with the courts striking down net neutrality rules it's a possibility if not a certainty.
